ARCH 4303 - Structural Principles


Credit Hours: (3)

Introduces issues relevant to the fundamentals of structures including statics, strength and stability of materials. Also introduces structural concepts, systems, and the tracing of structural loads through basic principles, physical modeling, and theoretical and analytical methods. Topics include: the interrelationship between strain, stress, and stability, as well as the implications of tension, compression, shear, torsion, and bending.

Prerequisite(s): ARCH 4301 .
