MATH 3163 - Introduction to Modern Algebra

Examples and elementary properties of basic algebraic structures, especially groups. The course emphasizes the writing of proofs of elementary theorems.

Prerequisite(s): MATH 1242  and MATH 2164  with grade of C or above or permission of department.
