READ 3226 - Applied Literacy and Practices Research, theory, and instructional practice related to integrating the communication processes with all subject areas with a focus on vocabulary, comprehension, study skills, authentic assessment-based instruction addressing the needs of diverse and struggling readers, and instructional approaches in a reading classroom.
