ARTH 3121 - Contemporary African Art

Survey of contemporary African artists and artworks (1960s to the present day), on the continent and in the diaspora, with international profiles.  Readings and discussions focus on politics, gender, class, identity, and mobility.

Prerequisite(s): Prerequisite: ARTH 1211  or ARTH 1212  with grade of C or above or permission of instructor.
