RELS 2152 - Renouncing the World: Monks, Hermits, and Gurus of Asia
An introduction to the lives of monks, nuns, gurus, and hermits of Asia. By focusing on the beliefs and practices of these renouncers, we gain new understandings of the religions of India, Southeast Asia, the Himalayas, China, and Japan.
