ITSC 3181 - Introduction to Computer Architecture


Introduction to the fundamentals of computer architectures and their programmability using assembly and system programming.  Topics include: logic design, processor architecture, memory hierarchies, assembly programming, C programming, process and thread parallelism.  The course grade includes the student’s performance in ITSC 3181L .

Credit Hours: (3)
Prerequisite(s): ITSC 1213  with grade of C or above; and ITSC 2175  or MATH 1165  with grades of C or above.
Corequisite(s): ITSC 3181L
