HIST 4797 - Honors Methods and Practice The first course in a required two-course sequence for Honors in History. Prepares students for the research and writing of an honors thesis by providing training in historiography, research methods, source development, and writing. During the course, students meet separately with their thesis advisor to craft their prospectus. Students must achieve a grade of A, or a grade of B with permission of instructor, to be able to take HIST 4799 . Students must achieve a grade of C to satisfy major requirements.
