ARTR 2161 - Photo-Mechanical Print Media


Introduction and survey of photo-mechanical printmaking processes, including photo-based screenprinting, photo-etching, photo-lithography, and digital printing.  Learn the history and context of photo-mechanical printmaking, as well as its application in contemporary art practices. Explore photo-mechanical printmaking through various print projects including monoprints, varied editions, and conventional editions.  Six contact hours.
