DANC 3100 - Pointe


The study of pointe technique at the beginning level, focusing on how proper ballet alignment supports pointe work, building the strength required to execute pointe technique, and developing pointe vocabulary in a progression from barre work to center work.

Prerequisite(s): DANC 2209  
Corequisite(s): A ballet technique course at the 2000 level or above, or permission of instructor
