Addresses family care across the lifespan as a lifelong developmental construct, and examines evidence-based approaches to practice, education, research, and policy. Students examine a broad spectrum of care situations (from developmental disability to chronic illness, dementia care, and end of life) that necessitate family caregiving throughout the lifespan and discuss responses to these challenges by both caregiving families and caregiving systems.
