MAED 5104 - Micro-computing for Teachers Introduction to basic computer concepts, to microcomputer systems, to the design and development of programs to assist instruction in mathematics and computer sciences. A programming language such as BASIC or LOGO will be used. Students integrate skills learned by selecting, designing and developing a specific project. (No prior experience with computer programming required.)
Credit Hours: (3) Restriction(s): Working knowledge of college algebra and trigonometry, and permission of department.
