Research, theory, and instructional practice related to integrating the communication processes with all subject areas with a focus on vocabulary, comprehension, study skills, addressing the needs of diverse and struggling readers, and instructional approaches in a reading classroom. Includes an extensive, field-based component (20 hours of clinical experiences are required).
