MDSK 6163 - Instructional Design Support Focus on providing teacher education candidates exposure to the modeling of evidence-validated practices, the rehearsal of instructional tasks, and numerous opportunities for feedback on pedagogical decision-making. The one credit course, taken in conjunction with an introductory course on lesson plan design, affords novice educators opportunities to practice and rehearse focus practices and receive feedback and coaching from an expert instructor. Engaging in a cycle of practice-based teacher education, candidates receive modeling and are exposed to other representations of practice.
