RSCH 8131 - Interviewing as Qualitative Inquiry Interviewing as a data collection method in qualitative research. Primary focus will be on semi-structured interviewing ideologies and processes. The course will cover all aspects of interviewing, providing a corpus of knowledge and skills needed to conduct qualitative interview research studies through examination of strengths, weaknesses, and critique of the method. Additionally learners will conduct interviews across a variety of contexts and reflect on their process, outcome, and ethics and the role of interviewing in promoting equitable and socially just research.
