The Minor in Statistics offers undergraduates pursuing a major in another department the opportunity to deepen their knowledge of statistics beyond their regular coursework. Students can complement their major with statistics electives to match their interests and career goals.
All program-level Admissions and Progression Requirements are in addition to the University of North Carolina at Charlotte Admission Requirements .

Admission Requirements
Current UNC Charlotte Undergraduate Students Minor Requirements
A Minor in Statistics requires 18 credit hours. Calculus Courses (6 credit hours)
First Calculus course. Select one of the following: Second Calculus course. Select one of the following: Statistics Courses (9 credit hours)
Introductory Statistics course. Select one of the following: Intermediate Statistics course. Select one of the following: Upper-level elective. Select one of the following: Major Course (3 credit hours)
Select one course from the student’s major: Alternative Major Course
If a student’s major does not require a course from the list above, then select one from the following: |
