MPAD 6316 - Introduction to Arts Administration

Recognizing the breadth and complexity of career options in art administration, the purpose of this class is to orient students to the basic profiles of organizational activities within the visual art field. Students are given a broad overview of the fundamentals of administrative structure, standards of operation, and functional components that are found in various visual art organizations. Students have the opportunity to explore, discuss, and understand the principles of successful art organization management.

Prerequisite(s): MPAD 6311 .
