HLTH 6200 - Introduction to Public Health


Credit Hours: (3)

An introduction and historical background to the diverse profession of public health. Emphasizes the development of a conceptual model of public health and exposure to the essential skills in critical thinking and group process skills needed in public health practice. Students complete an analysis of a current public health problem, including recommended courses of action to policy makers.
