CJUS 4350 - Victims and the Criminal Justice System Relationship between victims of crime and the criminal justice system. Topics include: an analysis of the characteristics of crime victims, victim reporting and non-reporting patterns, treatment of victims by the various segments of the criminal justice system, victim assistance programs, and the issue of compensation and/or restitution for victims of crime.
