RELS 4150 - Religion in the Contemporary United States An examination of selected topics and issues concerning contemporary American religion and culture. Topics may include, but are not limited to, religion and politics, the numerical decline of some religious groups and the explosive growth of others, the increased visibility of combinative religious practices and beliefs, new religious movements, and the intertwining of religions, popular culture, and consumer capitalism.
