THEA 2141 - Dramaturgy I Exploration of two plays in the Department of Theatre’s current production season, through dramaturgical research and essay writing. The writing of performance reviews and program notes will also be practiced. Students will do historical research on the plays, playwrights, and prior productions. Students also learn to apply current theories and cultural concerns to specific points in each play, developing new meaning for staging the plays today.
