CEGR 6245 - Chemical and Biological Processes in Environmental Systems Chemical and biological processes that describe the behavior of materials in natural and engineered environmental systems. Chemical processes to be covered may include acid-base reactions, equilibrium partitioning, pH buffering, precipitation/dissolution, complex formation, adsorption, oxidation-reduction, coagulation, and adsorption. Fundamentals of biological theories to be covered may include kinetics, bioenergetics, genetics, and cellular functions.
