ELET 1101 - Simulation and Schematic Capture
Introduces computer-aided design and engineering (CAD/CAE) with an emphasis on applications in the electronics field. Topics include: electronics industry standards (symbols, schematic diagrams, and layouts); drawing electronic schematics; simulating electronic circuits and printed circuit board layout of electronic circuits. Techniques for capturing CAD/CAE output to include with reports are also covered. Meets for three (3) lab hours per week in a computer lab.
