CSLG 6153 - Diagnosis and Treatment in Counseling Developing diagnostic skills using the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM-V) multiaxial classification system for mental and emotional disorders. Provides an overview of theory, research, and practice related to diagnosis and treatment. Diagnostic criteria is studied with a sensitivity to cultural and ethnic issues.
