ECGR 8147 - Power System Stability and Control The fundamental principles of power system stability with emphasis on modern power grid. Examines various power system stability analyses starting from small signal stability, transient stability, voltage stability, and frequency stability. System dynamics based on various stability conditions and controller design are also discussed.
Credit Hours: (3) Restriction(s): Graduate standing and knowledge of fundamentals of power systems, or permission of department. Credit will not be given for ECGR 8147 where credit has been given for ECGR 6147.
