GRAD 6100 - Basic Statistics and Probability Basic statistics and probability theory that prepares students for linear regression. Students are expected to learn SAS, STATA, and R during the course of the semester by participating in modules offered by Project Mosaic. By the end of the semester, students should know the steps that need to be taken to clean data prior to analysis, strategies for combining data, basic descriptive statistics. They will also understand sampling theory, inferential statistics, and sampling distributions.
