BIOL 4601 - Honors Seminar Open by invitation to juniors. Exploration of the nature of science, ethics in science, critical analysis, hypothesis testing and statistical analysis, peer review, and research skills. Students analyze professional research papers, present their analyses orally, select an Honors Advisor, and write a research proposal. Exit exam for biology majors will be administered. Two lecture hours with occasional additional hours to attend special lectures and seminars.
