HSMT 2101 - Introduction to the Health Professions An introduction to the span of health professions, including emphasis on the field of public health, and the concepts of professionalism, cultural competence, and interprofessional collaboration. Investigates a variety of health-related careers, focusing on the scope of the work, necessary skills and knowledge, legal and ethical responsibilities, and education preparation and credentialing.
