ARTE 2100 - Artists as Teachers An introduction to the role of the visual arts in learning and teaching in a variety of settings. Individual studio practices are translated into teaching expertise to develop and create meaningful, engaged, and relevant curriculum. Experiences in using visual arts to transform individuals and communities are incorporated. A clinical experience of a minimum of 20 hours at an assigned school is required. A minimum grade of B or above in this course is required for admittance to the Major in Art with a Concentration in Art Education.
