POLS 2220 - Political Science Methods


This course builds the knowledge skills ability (KSA) of students, in other words increases their information literacy. Emphasis on how to do literature searches, write professional papers as political scientists, understand and calculate statistics, and manipulate data with computer statistical packages. Recommended to be taken before majors begin to take upper-level courses. Three hours of lecture and one hour of computer laboratory per week.

Restriction(s): Political Science major.
Prerequisite(s): At least one introductory POLS course and MATH 1100  or equivalent.
