GEOG 6402 - Multi-Attribute Assessment/Evaluation for Planning and Decision-Making


A survey and comparison of multi-attribute assessment and evaluation methods in spatial planning and decision-making; and discusses the implementation of these methods with the aid of geographic information techniques.  Topics include:  land suitability/vulnerability assessment, environmental and social impact assessment, risk assessment, site selection, plan evaluation, and multi-criteria decision analysis.
