ESCI 5240 - Boundary-Layer Meteorology Examines the flow of temperature, moisture and wind within the atmosphere’s boundary layer, including their interactions and exchanges with Earth’s land and water surfaces. Applications to the diurnal cycle, short-term forecasting, and air pollution are also discussed. Three hours of lecture per week.
