EMGT 6910 - Forecasting Techniques, Methodologies, and Practice A comprehensive introduction to forecasting techniques and methodologies that offers practical guidance to apply them in the real-world decision-making processes. The techniques may include, but are not limited to: time series analysis, regression analysis, artificial neural networks, and other machine learning techniques. The methodologies may include, but are not limited to: forecast combination, hierarchical forecasting, probabilistic forecasting, judgmental forecasting, and technological forecasting. The applications may include, but are not limited to: energy forecasting, retail forecasting, healthcare forecasting, tourism forecasting, sports forecasting, and new product forecasting.
