Students examine and develop communication and leadership skills necessary for effective public health practice, including human resources management, conflict resolution, mediation and negotiation, community collaboration, and strategic planning. Students also develop an understanding of the role of law, policy, and advocacy in advancing the public’s health and develop advocacy skills.
