MEGR 7147 - Flight Dynamics Introduction to key principles behind steady and unsteady flight regimes. Specifically, steady level, ascending, and crosswind flight, along with the corresponding flight envelopes. Full six degree-of-freedom equations of motion are derived for fixed-wing aircraft and aircraft with spinning rotors. Longitudinal and lateral flight modes are analyzed based on the linearized dynamic equations.
