DANC 2218 - Modern Dance for Majors IIB
Intermediate Modern dance technique. Intermediate modern dance concepts are explored, including floorwork, standing exercises, and locomotor patterns. Students continue to learn, embody, and demonstrate intermediate-level movement vocabulary in a dance studio setting. Body alignment, placement, strength, flexibility and coordination are addressed. Students explore modern dance as a creative practice and artistic expression. Specific modern technique or style varies per instructor.
Credit Hours: (2)
Prerequisite(s): DANC 2217 with grade of C or above, or permission of instructor.
Repeatability: May be repeated for credit.
