STAT 1222 - Introduction to Statistics A non-calculus based course in statistics with special emphasis on applications to the social and behavioral sciences. Topics include: data summarization, discrete and continuous random variables (e.g. binomial, normal), sampling, central limit theorem, estimation, testing hypotheses.May not be taken for credit and for a grade if credit has been received for STAT 1220 or STAT 1221 .
