MEGR 8172 - Computational Methods in Engineering

Numerical linear algebra, solution of systems of equations, numerical integration, differentiation and interpolation, root finding, numerical solution of partial differential equations by finite difference and finite element methods. Credit will not be awarded for MEGR 8172 where credit has been awarded for MEGR 7172.

Prerequisite(s): MATH 6171 or permission of department.
