SPED 6350 - Young Children with Disabilities and their Families: Interdisciplinary Collaboration


Credit Hours: (3)

Explores issues and evidenced based practices specific to forming family-professional partnerships and collaborating across disciplines (e.g., early intervention/early childhood special education (EI/ECSE), early childhood education, occupational therapy, physical therapy, speech and language therapy, social work, nursing, public health, and education) to address the complex needs of young children with disabilities (or at-risk of developmental delays) and their families in natural and/or least restrictive environments (e.g., home, school, community settings, and hospitals).

Prerequisite(s): CHFD 6102  and CHFD 6220 .
