ARTB 1206 - Conceptual Practices Exposes students to the breadth of makers, means, and modes of expression in the contemporary art world during in-class sessions. In-class discussions, presentations, guest speakers, written assignments, and/or field trips support independent out-of-class studio projects. With these projects, students immediately assume full responsibility for acquiring the means, space and material resources to manifest a creative voice. Experiences are designed to promote the generation of ideas and their integration into objects, sound, digital media, and/or performance. Four contact hours.
