ENGL 4155 - Pan-African Literature Introduction to significant Pan-African literature, emphasizing the oral tradition, selected works of major authors in the Caribbean and Africa, and the relationships of these traditions to American, British and other literary traditions. Works not originally written in English will be studied in translation.
