Introduction to essential communication competencies within the context of helping relationships. Emphasis is on communication processes, cultural competence, and skills in a therapeutic relationship.

Prerequisite(s): ANTH 1101 or SOCY 1101 ; PSYC 1101 ; and UWRT 1103 or UWRT 1104 with a grade of C or above
