SEGR 3670 - Total Quality Systems


An interdisciplinary approach to principles and practice in the applications of continuous quality improvement (CQI) and Total Quality Management (TQM). Classroom work on major applications, re-engineering processes; process mapping, personal effectiveness and time management; technical presentations; CQI tools, statistical process control, designed experimentation; management and planning tools, engineering economy, and case studies; assignments and projects in team building, communication, and group problem solving.

Credit Hours: (3)
Restriction(s): Engineering major or minor.
Prerequisite(s): STAT 3128  with grade of C or above.
