ANTH 5453 - Field Project in Archaeology Students participate in field research on an historic or prehistoric archaeological site. Research may include field reconnaissance, excavation, mapping, systematic description and analysis of cultural material, and/or other techniques appropriate to the site and research problem. Students supervise undergraduates under the guidance of the instructor.
Credit Hours: (1 to 4) Restriction(s): Permission of instructor. Practical experience in archaeological techniques. Repeatability: May be repeated for credit with up to 6 credits applied to the M.A. degree.
