ITCS 8228 - Medical Informatics Focuses on methods and techniques used in storage, communication, processing, analysis, integration, management, and distribution of medical information. Emphasizes the applications of telemedicine and intelligent computeraided decision making systems in different medical and surgical systems. Discusses the computational methods to accept or reject a new drug or a new treatment for a given disease.
