CSLG 8105 - Doctoral Seminar Required in the first semester of doctoral study. The course serves as an orientation for doctoral students about the doctoral program, doctoral culture, the counseling faculty, and current and emerging professional issues in counselor education and supervision. Students will become familiar with CACREP standards and how they apply to counselor education. In addition, students will have the opportunity to learn about the research trends in the field of counseling. Finally the course will address professional development as a scholar.
