ECGR 6184 - Computer System Engineering
Topics include: data formats, register transfer operations, computer organization, microprogram control and ALU design. Arithmetic algorithms, I/O organization and memory organization are also covered. Specific emphasis is placed throughout on tradeoffs between hardware and software.
