ECGR 8120 - Wireless Communication and Networking


The cellular concept: interference issues, cell layout and planning, control techniques, grade-of-service and system capacity; characteristics of the mobile radio channel and channel models; multiple access techniques in wireless: FDMA, TDMA, and CDMA; analog and digital cellular telephone standards; packet radio systems: description, medium access control, and routing issues.
