PSYC 6150 - Introduction to Psychological Treatment Major approaches to psychological intervention, including psychodynamic, behavioral, humanistic and cognitive-behavioral systems. Emphasis on practical therapy considerations, including crisis intervention, client behaviors at various stages of therapy, handling difficult clients and ethical and professional issues. Three lecture hours and one two-hour lab per week.
