Introduction to VHSIC Hardware Description Language (VHDL) including VHDL-based high-level design of microelectronic systems, VHDL programming, and VHDL synthesis; emphasis on learning and using industry-standard VHDL tools.

Restriction(s): Engineering major or minor; and knowledge of a computer language or permission of department.
