ECON 3131 - Economic History of the United States


Use of economic models to further understanding of the growth and development of the U.S. economy from colonial times to the Great Depression. Emphasis on the sources and consequences of American growth, with particular emphasis on technological, demographic, and institutional changes.

Prerequisite(s): ECON 2101 ECON 2102 ; and STAT 1220  or equivalent; all with grades of C or above; or permission of instructor.
